Equipment

  • Child-safe scissors Optional – for trimming pipe cleaners

Materials

  • 2 Colorful pipe cleaners For petals – any color combination
  • 1 Green pipe cleaner For the stem
  • 1 Sparkly yellow pipe cleaner For the flower center (adds shimmer)

Instructions

  • Attach Two Pipe Cleaners TogetherPick two pipe cleaners for the petals and tie them together in the middle with a small knot to create one long piece.
  • Make Your First LoopBend one end into a loop and twist to secure. This will form your first petal.
  • Keep Making LoopsContinue bending and twisting the rest of the pipe cleaner into petal-shaped loops until you’ve made 4–6 petals.
  • Add the Green StemWrap a green pipe cleaner tightly around the base of the flower. Leave the end sticking out to form a stem. You can bend it to create a leaf shape too!
  • Add a Shiny Flower CenterUse a sparkly yellow pipe cleaner to wrap around the center of the flower, giving it a bright, bold look.
  • Repeat with Different Colors (Optional)Create more flowers using different color combinations for a full DIY bouquet.
